WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?
Attendees should fly into Boston Logan International Airport. The airport has easy access to ride-share pickups (predominantly Uber & Lyft), and provides a free shuttle service called the Silver line that can take attendees from the airport to downtown Boston for free.
WHERE WILL THE SOCIAL EVENT BE HELD?

The social event on the evening of 10/31/2022 will be held at the New England Aquarium, located at 1 Central Wharf, Boston MA 02110. The Aquarium is easily accessible via public transit, ride-share app, and bike. Please note that tickets for this event cost $25 and can be purchased alongside your registration.
The poster session social event on November 1st will be held at the Martin Center. The optional gathering after the close of the conference will be held at a nearby restaurant. More information will be provided closer to the Planetary Health Annual Meeting.
HOW CAN I GET AROUND BOSTON?

Boston is an accessible city, and it is easy to travel around via public transportation, foot, bicycle, or ride-share. The main ride-share apps used in Boston are Uber and Lyft. We encourage individuals who plan on commuting via car to have one or both of these apps downloaded on your phone prior to arrival in the city.

The Martin Center has made PDFs available that outline the various ways to reach the center via public transportation. These include both train and bus routes, and Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) passes can be purchased at most underground train stations. One is available in South Station. They can also be purchased at Logan Airport. Please ask airport staff to be directed towards an MBTA ticket machine on your way out of the facility.

Additionally, there is a rent-a-bike program available throughout the city called BlueBikes.
A PDF with parking options for the Conference Center can be found on the conference center website.
Lastly, the city is also especially walkable. There are several hotels within walking distance of the Martin Center.
